After Lebron James bolted to Los Angeles, Cleveland said they wanted to keep All-Star Kevin Love. They kept their word by signing him to a 4-year, $120 million dollar extension. The total of the deal is actually five years at around $145 million dollars. Kevin Love opted out of the 2019-2020 contract of his current five-year deal to sign the extension. Before his new contract kicks in, he’ll make $24.1 million this upcoming season. Kevin Love is still a double-double machine as Cleveland should still be a playoff team. It seems they have drafted their future leader in Collin Sexton, who should have an immediate impact.
